Dear Kelsey,
It sounds like a possble allergic reaction to something, possibly the bactine. Stop using the bactine for a while and see if it goes away. Wash with an antibacterial soap and keep the area dry. If it does not go away, becomes worse, or you develop symptoms like swelling, pus or foul odor see your physician.

Dear Will,
It could possibly be an allergic reaction. Have you changed soap or detergent lately? It could also be a fungal infection called jock itch. Another possibility is pubic lice, have you had any close contact with anyone where you might have been exposed. It sounds like you need to visit your doctor for a definite diagnosis and treatment.
