I just got my belly button pierced a week ago and a little bump is starting to take root, close to the piercing. Is this normal?

i got my belly button pierced and about two months after doing so my body rejected the metal completly and pushed the barbell out! i was terrified at first thinking that i would never be able to have a piercing, but i later learned that i was allergic to nickel and this is what caused my body to reject the barbell, becasue it had nickel in it!!!! soooooo before getting a piercing one should be positive about what kinds of jewler they can use!

My wife had the same reddish tissue. It started to form at around the 3rd month after getting her navel piercing.

I think it is most likely a cyst, I read about such conditions on the Net. We were a bit worried, but after some time the bump just vanished.

My wife has a tendency of developing scar tissues and we thought it was happening again - fortunately it disappeared.
