Ask The Nurse Lady A Question!

Laughs from the Nurse Lady - Aug 7, 2006

I was working in a regional day school for physically and mentally challenged students back in the mid-eighties. A little boy came into my office with a leather jacket. I said “Hi Tony what can I do for you?” He said “ I have a tear in my jacket and my mom said she can’t fix it, I told her I wanted to bring it to you because you can fix anything.” I swelled with pride at the thought that he felt I could fix anything, I then sheepishly admitted that I had absolutely no skill in tannery. He looked at me so surprised that I felt I had let him down. He then proceeded to hug me and say that’s OK. It was a good lesson for me to learn.
